The format is Match Play.  Tee boxes and 100% of handicap will be from the blue tees.  If the member is 62 or over with a handicap over 8.0 index, the person can play any forward tee box with the adjusted handicap.  Ladies are from the Pink tees.

The first round of matches will begin around June 1st.  A predetermined deadline date for matches will be posted to all entries in advance of tournament rounds starting. If playing competitors cannot coordinate a playing time, that predetermined date/time will allow for a scheduled time to conclude the match.  The First Matches will have a 4 week interval to complete your match. Future rounds will be three weeks in duration. 

Final 8 players will share in winners’ pool.

Tee times begin at 8am for the Family Golf Classic (2 person) 6.6.6. Event

Family Focus: At least one adult and one child, nephew etc. per team; can include grandparents and play 6 holes of Best Ball, 6 holes of Alternate Shot and the final 6 holes of Scramble Format.

Blue Tee Boxes will be used. Seniors over 62 with over an 8.0 handicap index can play it forward from the Baby Blue Tees. Seniors over 70 can play White Tees. Ladies will play from the red tee boxes.

Gross and Net winners with 35% of total team handicap used. Appetizers after the event included.

This Tournament will be held over two days and two golf courses. Bowes Creek Country Club and The Highlands of Elgin.

Adult Division will play the Blue tee box at Bowes Creek and either black/gold or gold at Highlands depending on flight.

It is a standard stroke play event with three divisions (Adult, Senior 50+ and Super senior 62+). Seniors will play up one tee box. (Baby Blue Bowes Creek) (Gold/Silver Highlands). Super Seniors up one tee box. (White Bowes Creek) (Silver Highlands)

$50/player plus greens fee if applicable; 9 hole golf scramble, includes dinner and small winners’ pool.  Gratuity additional.

Green Fees:  Members do not pay a greens fee. Bowes Creek Ladies Roster golfers and Martini League Golfers will paid $75.00 Green fee each day

Format- Stroke Play. USGA rules of golf as well as local rules apply. USGA Handicap required to participate. Gross and Net winners split the prize pool.  Gross competition is the Championship Flight. Seniors is a Gross Competition and Ladies Champion is Gross competition.

Champion Flight plays from Gray tees and the gross winner is the Club Champion (Low Net will also be awarded); Senior Flight plays from White tees and the gross winner is the Club Champion (Low Net will also be awarded); No restrictions on handicap for Seniors ( 62 plus); Seniors over 70 with more than 8 index can play from Pink Tees. Ladies play from Red Tees and gross winner is the Club Champion (Low Net will also be awarded).

A limit is set at 60 players for this event.

Blue Tees (Preferred Participation for Club Champs and active event participants). Sign up on the Wait List in August. *Highlands Cup points are earned for participation in a Blind Draw Event (1), Match Play Classic (1), Annual Match Play (1), and Club Championship.  Highest points are  given position on the team along with any previous year Club Champion.
