2025 Tournaments
Please find the list of tournament events and descriptions below for the current season. Please contact the Bowes Creek Country Club Golf Proshop to register for these tournaments or click on each tournament button to sign up online.
Entry fee is $60 per player for open events plus greens fee unless noted*. Reservations can be made through the APP or via the website link.
All participants are required to have USGA handicap. All Open Events will pay Net and Gross divisions.

Saturday, June 14th - Individual Stableford - Net and Gross Winners - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Stableford Scoring System: 4 strokes under (which there is basically no chance): 6 points. 3 strokes under (aka double eagle/albatross or hole in one): 5 points. 2 strokes under (aka an eagle): 4 points. 1 Stroke under (birdie): 3 points. Even par: 2 points. 1 stroke over (bogey): 1 point.

Saturday and Sunday, July 26 & 27th - 109th Annual Elgin Open - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
This Tournament will be held over two days and two golf courses. Bowes Creek Country Club on Saturday and The Highlands of Elgin on Sunday. Players will play the Blue tee box at Bowes Creek and either black/gold or gold at Highlands depending on flight. It is a standard stroke play event with three divisions (Adult, Senior 50+ and Super senior 62+) Seniors with a Handicap of 10 or more will play up one tee box. Super Seniors with a handicap of 10 or more will play up one tee box.

Saturday and Sunday, September 20th & 21st - Highlands Cup - MEMBERS ONLY
Blue Tees (Preferred Participation for Club Champs and active event participants). Sign up on the Wait List in August. *Highlands Cup points are earned for participation in a Blind Draw Event (1), Match Play Classic (1), Annual Match Play (1), and Club Championship. Highest points are given position on the team along with any previous year Club Champion.
